The BD7004 is the 2nd Generation Blu-ray player from Marantz offering full Profile 2.0 specification. Beside astonishing picture quality from Blu-ray the BD7004 will not fall short on DVD as Anchor Bay’s VRS™ video processing takes care of and outputs 1080p from standard material via HDMI1.3a port. The purest images are reproduced by using the 1080p/24 frames per second option. For high quality analogue video output on component level a 297MHz/12bit video DAC is implemented. On the audio side decoders are built in for HD-Audio formats like Dolby True HD and DTS HD and a 7.1 analogue output is available too. To further extend the quality an additional metal plate is added to the top cover strengthening the chassis and minimizing vibration. With supported media as DivX HD, JPEG, WMA and MP3, the BD7004 will give you a home cinema experience in true Marantz video and audio quality.
