HFX Systems has recently completed the installation of the largest screen that Mirrodex has ever made. The screen was installed at Sibaya Casino & Entertainment Kingdom in KwaZulu Natal. These photos show the unit at first tensioning and roll-out when the installation team that is responsible for installation went through to discuss the dimensions and mounting options. Although not fully rolled out the sheer size of the screen is fairly evident.

This is a fully motorized screen and is to be used with a specific 70mm video projector. It ultimately forms part of a very large auditorium and is mounted on a stage rigging platform and will be used for a variety of applications, from conferences to normal movie viewing and stage productions. A specially commissioned truck had to be organized for the delivery from Johannesburg to Durban due to the extreme length of the screen.

The internal viewing size is 12m x 8m, excluding the additional blanking strips top and bottom, as well as the mounting frame and motor mounting on the side. The total length of the screen when mounted is approximately 15 meters long!
