We are currently in the final stages of completing a 'themed' 28 seater theater. The customers' brief was simple: 28 seats, 3 very comfortable couches and sufficient audio and visual power to bring out the best of the current library of 700 DVD’s. There was to be a stage for informal concerts and the odd karaoke evening complemented with a few stage lights...
And lets not forget, the theatre had to complement the 1600m2 Mexican Villa that was under construction, with a 200 year old aging theme…

Side walls in the theatre with B&W dipole surround loudspeakers camouflaged into the decor
Provision always needs to be made in the side walls of the theater for acoustic treatment, as once the seating and carpeting is installed, the room can be measured and calculations can be made to determine what is required in terms of additional absorption and diffusion. These treatment devices are not pleasing to look at, so acoustically transparent fabric panels were made, and airbrushing was applied by an artist of famous actors of the 60's and 70's. Once the carpeting and chairs are installed, the correct type and quantity acoustic treatment material will be mounted behind these removable frames....
